Breaking: Aiyedatiwa sacks Ondo commissioners, political appointees

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has dissolved the state’s Executive Council with immediate effect.

The governor’s media aide, Ebenezer Adeniyan, stated this in Akure, the Ondo State capital, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Adeniyan noted that by the dissolution, all cabinet members were to immediately hand over to permanent secretaries or the most senior administrative officer in their ministries.

He added that other political appointees such as Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants to the governor were also relieved of their appointments.
