A 53-year-old Chinese national, Cao Chunri, has died after collapsing at a quarry operated by ASBA Mining Company Group in Wasa village, Abuja.
The incident was reported to the Kabusa Police Division around 2:56 p.m. on Monday by a company staff member, Mohammed Abdulkareem.
He said the worker slumped at about 2 p.m. on Sunday within the company premises and was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Jabi, where doctors confirmed him dead.
Police detectives later visited the hospital and the quarry site for documentation and further assessment.
The body has been deposited at the FMC Jabi mortuary for autopsy.
