Court bars Lizzy Anjorin from sharing Priscilla Ojo’s son’s photos

A Lagos State High Court has ordered Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin to stop publishing or distributing photographs of Priscilla Ojo’s son, as well as editorials concerning the actress and her family.

Justice Yetunde Adesanya issued the interim order on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, following an application filed by Priscilla, her husband, Juma Jux, and their son, identified in the suit as Master Rakeem Mkambala.

The order specifically prohibits Anjorin, her agents, representatives, employees or anyone acting on her behalf from uploading, sharing, circulating or broadcasting photographs of the child on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok.

The court similarly restrained her from publishing or broadcasting editorials relating to the applicants on the listed platforms.

The affected accounts include Instagram handles allegedly associated with Anjorin, such as @lizzyanjorin_originallawal, @lizzyanjorin_original, @lizzyanjorin_legal_mrslawal and @yeyemesho_luxuryfabric1. A Facebook account identified as Lizzyanjorin2 was also listed.

Justice Adesanya directed Anjorin to “cease and desist” from making such posts pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice filed in the case.

The order was granted ex parte, meaning it was issued at an interim stage before Anjorin was given an opportunity to present her side of the dispute.

It is therefore not a final judgment on the matter and will remain subject to further proceedings before the court.

The judge also ordered that the case file be returned to the Registry of the Lagos State High Court for reassignment to the appropriate division.

The court action follows a long-running dispute between Anjorin and members of the family of actress Iyabo Ojo, who is Priscilla’s mother. The disagreement has largely unfolded through social media exchanges and has previously resulted in a ₦1 billion defamation suit filed by Iyabo Ojo against Anjorin.

Anjorin has in recent times also made public allegations questioning the paternity of Priscilla’s son. Those claims have not been independently verified and were not the subject of the interim order.

Priscilla’s son, Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, was born in Canada in August 2025.
