A serving officer at the Nigeria Customs Service headquarters in Abuja, Abdullahi Magaji, has been killed at his residence in Farm Centre Quarters, Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State.
It was gathered that the customs officer was killed by unknown persons at his residence on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
His demise was confirmed by the Area Controller of Customs, Kano/Jigawa, Dauda Chana, on Monday.

Chana said customs and police have been authorised to jointly conduct an intensive investigation to apprehend those responsible for the crime.
He further appealed to residents, especially neighbours of Magaji, to come forward with reliable information to aid in the apprehension of those involved in the killing.
Kano State Police Public Relations Officer Haruna Kiyawa also confirmed the incident, adding that a full-scale investigation has been initiated.
