The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has increased its ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit, fondly called petrol, to N850 per litre.
Dangote refinery increased its ex-depot price of petrol from N820 per litre.
Therefore, the current price represents a N30 upward review by the refinery.

The price adjustment comes barely two days after the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited reduced petrol pump price to N875 and N900 per litre at its retail outlets in Lagos and Abuja, respectively.

The latest development was confirmed by the National President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Abubakar Garima, on Friday, August 8, 2025.
It was further gathered that some Dangote refinery retail partners have increased their pump prices to N915 in Lagos.
