Davido tips Super Eagles to defeat Morocco 3-0 in AFCON final

Afrobeats star Davido has predicted a convincing 3-0 victory for Nigeria over Morocco in the final of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025.

The singer, who recently thrilled fans with a performance at the tournament’s opening ceremony, expressed strong confidence in the Super Eagles’ chances.

He further demonstrated his belief by placing a high-stakes combo bet on Nigeria’s Group C opening match against Tanzania.

The bet, placed ahead of the December 23 encounter at the Fez Stadium, carries odds of 3.86 with a potential payout of $96,500, reflecting Davido’s optimism about the national team’s campaign.

Davido has remained vocal in his support for the Super Eagles, regularly sharing his excitement and backing for the team on social media.

Shortly after his AFCON performance, he reportedly flew to Sierra Leone for another concert before returning to Nigeria for yet another show, highlighting his busy schedule and strong work ethic.

Fans on social media have praised the singer’s hustle, with some noting that his performance fee at AFCON was reportedly in the million-dollar range.

His bold prediction and public support have sparked renewed conversations among football fans and analysts, many of whom see his confidence as a positive sign for the Super Eagles as they navigate a tough group featuring Tunisia, Tanzania, and Uganda.
