Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, fondly called Portable, has lashed out at award-winning musician, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, for unfollowing him on social media for campaigning for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the July 16 gubernatorial election in Osun State.

The Star had reported that Portable stormed Osun State to canvass votes for the APC, while Davido was also in the state to campaign for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Davido’s uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, is the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP, who will slug it out with the incumbent governor and the APC governorship candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, at the poll on Saturday.

Portable, on the other hand, canvassed votes for Governor Oyetola just as he also asked Nigerians to vote for the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Tinubu, during the 2023 presidential election.

However, the ‘Zazzu Zeh’ crooner, on Friday, took to his Instagram page saying Davido had unfollowed him for campaigning for the APC in Osun State.

Portable said: “I am the one that brought riches to my family. Open your ears so my words can enter.

“I am running and hustling in this manner and it’s simply because of money. And also to avert suffering. So that that that which my family had to endure doesn’t also become my portion.

“Once again, my father wasn’t a rich man. I come from the trenches but managed to bring my family into wealth. So support who support you. They wasted no time in unfollowing us,” the singer stated.
