EFCC arrests 21 internet fraudsters in Adamawa

The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 21 suspected internet fraudsters in Yola, the capital of Adamawa state.

The EFCC disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

The anti-graft agency noted that the suspected internet fraudsters were apprehended at different locations around Modobo Adamawa University in Yola on Tuesday, September 24.

EFCC arrests 24 internet fraudsters in Edo

The commission listed items recovered from the suspects to include 13 iPhones, 12 Android phones, one laptop, and one tablet phone.

“The suspects would soon be charged to court,” it added.
