The operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 47 suspected internet fraudsters in the Ekpoma area of Edo State.
The EFCC disclosed this via a statement on Monday, February 17, 2025.
The anti-graft agency said the suspected internet fraudsters were apprehended on Saturday, February 15.

It said the suspects were arrested based on credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
The EFCC listed items recovered from the suspects to include 14 exotic cars, laptops, and phones
