Egyptian man dies at Abuja hotel during dinner

An Egyptian national, Mohammed Saleh, 56, has died after collapsing during dinner at the Abuja Intercontinental Hotel, Wuse Zone 4.

Sources said Saleh slumped on Friday night while dining with three companions.

The hotel’s Security Supervisor, Francis Yusuf, reported the incident to the Wuse Police Division at about 9:24 p.m.

He was first taken to Kings Care Hospital in Wuse before being referred to Wuse District Hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead.

Police said the body has been deposited at the hospital morgue for autopsy as investigations continue.
