Ekiti election: PDP candidate Oluyede votes in Ikere

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Ekiti State election, Wole Oluyede, on Saturday cast his vote at Polling Unit 6, Ugele/Aroku Ward 3 in Ikere Local Government Area of the state.

Oluyede arrived at the polling unit to participate in the electoral process as voters across the state turned out to elect a new governor.

The PDP candidate exercised his civic responsibility amid ongoing voting in the election being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) across the 16 local government areas of the state.

His participation marks a key moment in the closely watched governorship contest, with political parties expressing optimism about their chances at the polls.

Voting and other electoral activities continued peacefully in many parts of the state as residents exercised their democratic rights.
