The Director, New Media sub-committee of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Femi Fani-Kayode, says he was in the “People’s Pigs Party” when he wrote an article against the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, some years ago.

Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, said he joined the APC when he “saw the light and left the swine”.

The former minister was one of the ardent critics of Tinubu before he dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling party two years ago.

Speaking on the reactions that trailed his circulating essay via a tweet on his Twitter account on Thursday, Fani-Kayode stated: “Circulating essays I wrote years ago against Asiwaju Bola Tinubu changes nothing. I was in People’s Pigs Party then but saw the light and left the swine.

“Been in APC since and have fought for Asiwaju to win with every fibre of my being. Those that are unhappy with that can drop dead.”
