Telecommunications giant Globacom (Glo) on Tuesday announced that it has fully restored data services following a nationwide outage that disrupted connectivity across Nigeria.
Glo, in a statement issued to customers, explained that the disruption began at about 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, and affected users across the country.
Glo said its technical team immediately commenced recovery efforts and has now resolved the issue.
The company confirmed that connectivity has been fully restored in all affected areas and thanked subscribers for their patience and continued loyalty.

The company stated: “Earlier today, a data service outage occurred nationwide, affecting connectivity across multiple locations.
“The outage, which started at 08:30 a.m. on 09/12/2025, has now been resolved. We understand how important reliable data access is to you and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.
“Our technical team has completed the recovery work, and services have been fully restored across all affected areas.
“Thank you for your patience and for choosing Glo. We truly appreciate you.”
