Gospel singer Nwokocha: My wife sent nude pictures to other men

Popular gospel singer Paul Nwokocha has confirmed the end of his marriage to his second wife, Goodness, over alleged “abominable acts”.

The couple, who tied the knot in September 2023 just a month after Nwokocha’s divorce from his first wife, Alice, recently made headlines over reports of their split.

The gospel singer confirmed the split via a trending video on his official YouTube channel.

Speaking in the video posted on YouTube on Sunday, February 9, 2025, Nwokocha said his second marriage ended after he discovered that his wife had been sending nude pictures and videos to other men.

He said: “I divorced my second wife because I caught her sending nude photos to other men.

“If I marry someone today and find out that the person is engaging in an abominable act before God and man, I will send them out of my house.”

Reacting to the backlash and criticism that trailed the end of his marriage, Nwokocha expressed frustration over being called names.

He also challenged his critics to consider how they would feel if their spouse engaged in a similar act.

The gospel singer added: “How would you feel if the woman you call your wife was taking nude videos and sending them to other men?

“I married a wife, not a whore. So, I owe nobody an apology for this.”

Nwokocha married his second wife in September 2023 barely a month after parting ways with his first wife, Alice.

His separation from Alice was reportedly due to what he described as “maltreatment”, including her alleged refusal to serve him food.

The singer has previously expressed his belief that marriage should be “for better, for better” – a deviation from the conventional “for better, for worse” vow.
