Gov Uba Sani urges appointees to prioritize citizens’ interests

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has urged newly appointed government officials to place the interests of the people above all else, emphasizing that they are public servants accountable to the citizens.

He made this call during the swearing-in ceremony of key officials, including the new Commissioner of Education, Professor Abubakar Sani Sambo; Commissioner of Youth Development, Barrister Gloria Ibrahim; and the Head of Service, Mrs. Jummai Bako. Several other senior government officials were also inaugurated.

Governor Sani challenged the appointees to contribute meaningfully to the administration’s vision by being innovative and results-driven. “Think outside the box, while keeping the box in view,” he advised, encouraging them to act swiftly and effectively in their roles.

“You have been chosen for your skills and competence to help rebuild and renew Kaduna State,” he stated, adding that teamwork and collaboration are essential for success. “We must avoid working in silos. Without communication and cooperation, progress will be limited.”

Highlighting the achievements of his administration, the governor noted ongoing efforts to transform both urban and rural communities through infrastructure development, improvements in healthcare and education, and initiatives to fight poverty and enhance security.
