Gunmen kill PoS operator in Ebonyi

Gunmen have killed a Point of Sale (PoS) operator, Louis Enoshi, at Umuogudu Akpu Ngbo community in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

A resident of the area, Monday Nweke, disclosed that that the PoS operator was shot dead at his house in the early hours of Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Nweke said: “It’s a pity that Louis is no more; it’s too bad. The perpetrators should not go unpunished.

“This is a young man that has been working hard to make a living.

EFCC arrests banker, PoS agent for naira racketeering

“I urge the police to ensure that the suspects are arrested and brought to book.”

The incident was confirmed by the Ebonyi State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joshua Ukandu, on Thursday, February 29.

Ukandu said an investigation had commenced to unravel the identity of the killers and bring them to justice.
