Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has become the first Nigerian player to have 300 appearances in the Premier League.
Premier League announced this in a post on X on Saturday night.
Iwobi, who currently plays for Fulham, made 100 appearances for Arsenal (2015–2019), 123 for Everton (2019-2023), and 77 for his current club.
The midfielder had 11 goals for Arsenal, six for Everton, and has so far scored 15 goals for Fulham.
“Alex Iwobi is the first Nigerian player to reach 300 Premier League appearances 🇳🇬,” Premier League wrote.

Iwobi began his career at Arsenal, with whom he won the FA Cup in 2017 and finished as runner-up for the EFL Cup in 2018 and UEFA Europa League in 2019.
In 2019, Iwobi transferred to Everton, and in 2023 he joined Fulham.
Iwobi represented England up to under-18 level.
He made his senior international debut for Nigeria in October 2015, and was part of their squads at the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2019, 2021, and 2023.
