Kebbi govt suspends commissioner over misconduct

The Kebbi State Government has suspended the Commissioner for Livestock Development and Fisheries, Kabir Usman-Alaramma, over alleged misconduct.

The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Yakubu Bala-Tafida, made this known via a statement issued on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

Bala-Tafida noted that the suspension takes immediate effect and would remain in force until further notice.

Govs get powers to appoint state police chiefs

The SSG further directed the commissioner to hand over all government property and official responsibilities under his custody to the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, pending further action.
