The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, made the disclosure via a statement issued on Wednesday.

Oyeyemi stated that the suspect was arrested on Monday.

He added that the 28-year-old fleeing inmate was arrested following information received by policemen at divisional headquarters, Sango-Ota, that the convict was sighted around the area.
