The deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Funke Akindele, has lost her polling unit to the incumbent, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Akindele, on Saturday morning, cast her vote at her polling unit in Ita Aro Square, Aga/Ijimu ward in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State in the governorship and House of Assembly elections in the state.
Sanwo-Olu, however, polled 77 votes to defeat PDP’s Olajide Adeniran, and his running mate, Akindele, who garnered 19 votes.
