Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has gifted veteran gospel singer Yinka Ayefele a brand new Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).

This is coming a few days after a fire outbreak that gutted Fresh FM, owned by Ayefele, in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

Makinde, who was represented by the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Ademola Ojo, handed over the keys to the SUV during a visit to the Ayefele Music House in the Challenge area of Ibadan on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

Makinde commended Ayefele for his resilience and contributions to both the entertainment industry and media growth in Oyo State and across Nigeria.
