Man demolishes houses built for wife, mother-in-law over divorce

A man, Francis Banda, has demolished houses he built for his wife and her mother after the woman divorced him for another man in Malawi.

In an audio shared on social media, Banda said he married his wife 13 years ago, adding that the marriage produced three children.

He added that he built a house for his wife and another for her mother in the wife’s village.

He, however, alleged that his wife started a relationship with another man, saying the woman recently left their house.

Banda stated that he tried to communicate with his wife but her phone was answered by the new man.

The development, it was gathered, prompted the man to demolish the houses he built for the woman and her mother in her village.
