Maria apologises for involving Apostle Selman in cheating scandal

A former Big Brother Naija housemate, Maria Chike, has apologised to Apostle Joshua Selman for involving him in a cheating saga.

Rumours had emerged that Maria once had an affair with a cleric identified simply as “Apostle”.

Maria, on Monday, said herself and her partner laughed out loud after coming across the prayer Apostle Selman shared on Twitter.

“May you experience mind blowing miracles this new week, IJN…,” the cleric tweeted.

The reality TV star, in reaction to the tweet, asked the cleric if he was the one she was accused of having an affair with.

“Amen! But I’m sorry man of God, are you the one they allegedly claim I had something with? No offence but myself and my partner just laughed out loud.

“May God be with you amen. I found on a retweet please don’t be offended,” Maria wrote.

Acknowledging her mistake, the reality TV star pleaded for forgiveness, saying: “I stand corrected. My apologies to Apostle for getting names mixed up/wrong.

“Find it in your good heart to forgive my innocent tweet. Remain blessed.”

A popular Apostle had been severally accused of sleeping with celebrities.

Maria mistook the Apostle for Selman because of similarity in names.

But Apostle Selman is known for being a preacher without any scandal trailing him.
