Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has debunked reports making the rounds that he dumped the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, ahead of the 2023 general election.
Bello, who is the National Youth Coordinator of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, said his unwavering support for Tinubu and his running mate, Sen. Kashim Shettima, “is 100% undiluted”.
The governor said this via a post on his Facebook page on Sunday.

Reports, in the early hours of Sunday, emerged that Governor Bello withdrew his support for Tinubu over permutations in Kogi State ahead of November 2023 governorship election in the state.
Reacting, the governor stated: “Fake news alert!! Kindly disregard every fake news being spread by mischievous media outlets.
“My unwavering support for Tinubu/Shettima 2023 is 100% undiluted. God bless APC!!! God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!”
