The naira closed at the rate of N1,592.06 against the United States dollar at the official market on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
Data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ Exchange, a platform that oversees the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM), showed that the naira lost N11.6.
It represents a 0.81 per cent gain when compared to the trading on Monday, August 19, when the local currency closed at N1,580.46 to a dollar.
