Naira trades N1,650 at official market

The naira depreciated at the official market on Thursday, November 14, 2024, trading at N1,650.20 against the dollar.

Data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ Exchange revealed that the naira lost N4.8.

This represents a 0.29 per cent loss when compared to the previous trading date on Wednesday when it exchanged at N1,645.40 to a dollar.

The total daily turnover also reduced to $214.73 million on Thursday down from 236.84 million dollars recorded on Wednesday.

At the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, the naira traded between N1,698.25 and N1,633 against the dollar.
