He had earlier fixed Tuesday for the collation of results in two outstanding two Local Government Areas which included Obio Akpor and Degema LGAs.

However, Adias, on Tuesday morning, said those threatening his life accused him of being responsible for all the alleged electoral malpractice in Rivers State.

The Vice-Chancellor said he had received numerous calls from unknown persons after his private phone number was displayed on social media.

He, however, vowed not to resume the collation of results until the matter is addressed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Before the suspension on Tuesday, the results of 21 out of the 23 LGAS of Rivers State had been collated.

The two remaining LGAs are those of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and his deputy, Ipalibo Banigo.

While Wike hails from Obio-Akpor, his Deputy is from Degema LGA.
