The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as petrol, to N860 per litre, at its retail outlets in the country.
The National Vice President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Hammed Fashola, confirmed the development on Monday, March 3, 2025.
Fashola, who described the price cut as a positive step for Nigerians, said: “It is true; NNPC is selling petrol at N860 in its filling stations.
Again, Dangote refinery reduces petrol price to N860/litre
“Though this has not reflected on the portal yet, they assured me they are working on updating it.”
The petrol price reduction by NNPCL is coming after an adjustment by Dangote refinery, which also slashed its petrol prices nationwide.
