The Lagos State Police Command has urged the fans of late popular singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly called Mohbad, to remain calm on the result of the autopsy conducted on the remains of the musician.
The police said the autopsy was carried out by the best forensic pathologists in the country, noting that there was “no underhand dealing” in the process.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said this in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday night.
Hundeyin added that the autopsy was carried out in the presence of Mohbad’s family members.
The police spokesperson stated: “As assured by the CP, the autopsy was promptly carried out, by some of the best forensic pathologists in the country, in the presence of family members.

“While we await the result, we urge everyone to remain calm and confident in the process. There is absolutely no underhand dealing, as feared by some concerned persons.
“In the meantime, other aspects of the investigation are progressing well.”
The Command had, last week, announced the conclusion of the autopsy on the remains of Mohbad, who died on September 12 at the age of 27 and was buried the next day.
The singer’s remains were later exhumed by the Lagos State Police Command for autopsy following the circumstances surrounding his demise.
The Command also inaugurated a special investigation team to probe the death of the famous singer, a former signee of Naira Marley at Marlian Records.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, had equally invited the Department of State Services (DSS) to join in the investigation.
