A nurse in the Ahmed Sani Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital in Zamfara State, Asma’u Lawali Bungudu, has slumped and died in the hospital.
It was gathered that the nurse, who was hale and hearty when she arrived at the hospital for work on Wednesday morning, was confirmed dead a few hours after she resumed duty.
Confirming the incident, the hospital spokesman, Auwal Usman, said Bungudu was at her duty post and had checked the blood pressure of about 30 patients before she complained about a cardiac issue to a doctor.
