OAU student’s death: Hotel receptionist jailed

The Osun State High Court has sentenced Adedeji Adesola, the receptionist at the Hilton Hotels in Ile-Ife where the former postgraduate student of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Timothy Adegoke, died to two years imprisonment.

Delivering judgement, the judge said: “I have considered the passionate plea of the 7th defendant and the submission of the prosecution on the need to temper justice with mercy.

“I have observed and considered the sober disposition of the 7th defendant in court throughout the trial.
