Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lost his political stronghold of Lagos State to Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
Obi defeated Tinubu going by the results of the Saturday, February 25 presidential election released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Obi polled 582,454 votes while Tinubu got 572,606.
Tinubu won in 11 local governments while Obi led in nine, but the LP candidate came top in the presidential election.
Presidential Candidate of PDP, Atiku Abubakar, came a distant third with 75,750 votes.
