Okpebholo submits 6 commissioner-nominees to Edo Assembly

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has forwarded the names of six commissioner-nominees to the state House of Assembly for confirmation.

This was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Ikhilor, and sent to the House on Tuesday, January 7, 2024.

The nominees are Paul Ohonbamu, Washington Osifo, Paddy Iyamu, Lucky Eseigbe and Andrew Ijegbai, and Marie Olabisi-Idaomi.

Suspended Edo LG chairmen, 13 councillors dump PDP for APC

The letter read: “I write at the instance of the Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo to forward for the consideration and confirmation Assembly, the underlisted names as Commissioner designates.

“They are Hon. Paul Ohonbamu, Washington Osifo, Paddy lyamu, Lucky Eseigbe, Andrew ljegbai, and Marie Olabisi-Idaomi.

“While looking forward to the expeditious confirmation of the names, please accept the assurances of the warm regards of Mr. Governor.”
