The operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have foiled an attempt to induce voters in the ongoing governorship election in Ondo State.
The DSS officers thwarted the attempt with the arrest of a suspected vote-buyer in Akure, the Ondo State capital, on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

The suspect was apprehended at about 9 a.m. at Ward 4, Polling Unit 007 outside St. Stephen’s Primary School in Akure.
