It was gathered that Ooni married Akinmuda on May 10, 2023.

It was learned that the revered Yoruba monarch has concluded plans to officially welcome his sixth wife into his Palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State, on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

The event, which would be preceded by the traditional entry of the queen into Ooni’s Palace on Thursday, May 18, would have top dignitaries in attendance.

The Star recalls that Ooni, in October 2022, married his fifth wife, Temitope Adesegun Ogunwusi.

The marriage came barely a few days after Ooni married his fourth wife, Princess Aderonke Ademiluyi, who hails from a royal family, in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

The traditional ruler had earlier married Mariam Anako from Kogi State and Ashley Adegoke, who hails from Lafogido royal house in Ile-Ife.

The other wife of the traditional ruler includes Tobi Phillips.

The monarch had earlier married Adebukola Bombata in 2008 but the marriage failed.

He later married Edo-born Zainab-Otiti Obanor in 2016 but the union lasted for 17 months before their separation.

Ooni also married Silekunola Naomi in 2018 but the marriage ended in December 2021.
