Osimhen joins Galatasaray for record €75m

Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen has completed a permanent move to Galatasaray for a Turkish transfer record of €75 million.

Galatasaray announced the signing of Osimhen from Napoli via a post on X on Thursday night.

The club disclosed that Osimhen signed a four-year contract and will be earning €15 million per season.

The striker will get an additional €1 million loyalty bonus and another €5 million as an image rights fee.

Napoli will also get 10 per cent of the profit from Osimhen’s next sale.

Galatasaray will pay €40 million from the transfer fee immediately to Napoli and the additional €35 million over the next year.

The deal also includes restrictions on Osimhen joining Serie A clubs for two years.

The club stated: “Professional football player Victor James Osimhen has been transferred following an agreement reached with his former club, SSCN Napoli S.p.A.

“As part of the agreement, a net transfer fee of 75.000.000 euros will be paid to the former club. Additionally, 10% of the profit from the player’s future sale will be paid to SSCN Napoli S.p.A.

“A four-year contract has been signed with the player, effective from the 2025–2026 season.

“According to the agreement, the player will receive a net annual guaranteed salary of 15.000.000 euros, a net loyalty bonus of 1.000.000 euros per season, and 5.000.000 euros per season for image rights.”
