Police arrest singer Ice Prince for assaulting officer

Popular Nigerian singer, Panshak Henry Zamani, well known as Ice Prince, has been arrested by the operatives of the Lagos State Police Command, for allegedly assaulting a police officer.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known via a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Friday morning.

Hundeyin stated that Ice Prince was arrested at about 3 a.m. on Friday after the famous singer was flagged down by the police for driving without a license plate.

He added that Ice Prince, who agreed to be taken to the station after he was stopped by the police, abducted a police officer in his car, assaulted him, and threatened to throw him in the river.
