Police kill kidnappers of AIG Odumosu’s wife, recover ransom

Police operatives have killed suspected kidnappers of AIG (rtd) Hakeem Odumosu’s wife.

The Star reports that Alhaja Sikirat Odumosu was kidnapped on January 16, 2025, at her residence in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

In a terse statement, the Police said apart from neutralizing the criminal elements, operatives also recovered the ransom paid for her possible release.

“Police neutralise AIG Hakeem Odumosu’s wife kidnappers, recover ransom.

“The IGP has commended the Police Operatives and CP Ogun State, Lanre Ogunlowo, for a good job.

“We are committed to safeguarding Nigerian citizens and our dear country,” ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, the spokesperson said.
