Policeman shoots actor Azeez Ijaduade in Ogun

An officer of the Ogun State Police Command has allegedly shot Nollywood actor, Azeez Ijaduade, in the Iperu area of the state.

It was gathered that Ijaduade, a movie director and producer, is currently receiving treatment at the Babcock University Teaching Hospital in Ogun State after he was allegedly shot by a police officer.

The incident was disclosed via the Instagram account of Ijaduade’s colleague, Abiodun Adebanjo, on Saturday night.

Adebanjo stated: “Please we need help in Iperu. My director, Azeez Ijaduade, @kingzeez1, was shot by a Nigeria Police personnel.

“He is presently at Babcock University Teaching Hospital.

“Anybody with the contacts of the Police IG or Commissioner should reach out.”

The Ogun State Police Command has however yet to speak on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
