PSG sign Rasheedat Ajibade from Atletico Madrid

French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have announced the signing of Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade.

PSG announced Ajibade’s signing via a statement on Tuesday.

The club said Ajibade’s contract will run until June 30, 2027.

“Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the arrival of Nigerian footballer Rasheedat Ajibade, who has committed to the Club until June 30, 2027,” PSG stated.

Born on December 8, 1999, in Lagos, Ajibade began her career at the age of 13 with FC Robo Queens in the Nigerian league.

She emerged early on as a prodigy in African women’s football, notably receiving the title of NFF Young Player of the Year in 2018.

Prior to joining PSG, Ajibade played for Atletico de Madrid in La Liga F, a club she joined in 2021 after her time in Norway with Avaldsnes IL (2019–21).
