Sabanti Nathan appointed FCTA acting Head of Service

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has appointed Nancy Sabanti Nathan as the Acting Head of Service of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

The minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, announced this in a statement issued on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

Olayinka noted that Nathan was appointed in an acting capacity, pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.

The minister’s spokesman added that Nathan’s appointment was with immediate effect.

She was appointed following the death of the FCTA Head of Service, Grace Adayilo, on September 1.

Until her appointment, the new acting HoS was the Permanent Secretary at the Youth Development Secretariat of the FCTA.

She had served as the Director of Finance and Administration in the office of the FCT Minister before she was appointed Permanent Secretary.
