The remaining four primary school pupils abducted by gunmen at LEA Primary School, Alwaza in Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State have been rescued.
This was disclosed via a statement issued on Friday by the Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel.
Security operatives had earlier rescued two females among the six pupils abducted on Thursday, January 20, 2023.
However, Nansel stated that in continuation of the search to rescue the remaining four pupils, a detachment of joint security operatives, in collaboration with hunters, rescued the four pupils at Doka village in Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The police spokesperson gave the names of the remaining four pupils rescued as Awazi Emmanuel, Success Ogah, Dominion Alhaji, and Success Emmanuel.
He noted that the rescued four pupils have been taken to the hospital for treatment, adding that they would be reunited with their parents soon.
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Maiyaki Muhammad Baba, thanked members of the public for their support thus far and urges them to assist the Police with relevant information that will assist in arresting the perpetrators of the dastardly act,” Nansel added.
