The Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra State Signage and Advertising Agency, Joe Anatune, has been confirmed dead.
Anatune, who died on Saturday, was appointed by the Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, on April 19.
Before the appointment, he was the Director, Media and Communications of Soludo campaign.
He, however, passed away a few days after his 62nd birthday.
The demise of Anatune was confirmed via a statement issued by Soludo’s Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, on Sunday.
Soludo described the deceased as “one of the foremost apostles of the Soludo project”, adding that Anatune’s sacrifices during his campaign were not “only exceptional but highly commendable”.
The governor further commiserated with the deceased’s family, saying: “Governor Soludo received the news of Mr Joe Anatune’s sudden death with deep pains and shock.
