The Commander, Special Task Force Operation Safe Haven and General Officer Commanding, 3 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Ibrahim Ali, has inaugurated a 20-man crisis intervention committee to assist the troops in tackling communal crisis and criminalities in Sanga Local Government area of Kaduna State.
Speaking on the development on Saturday, Ali noted that the constitutional responsibility of the security agencies to protect the lives and properties of the citizens was achievable through the support and cooperation of the people.
He said security is everybody’s business which requires collective efforts of everyone for meaningful development to strive.

Ali added that the inauguration of the committee was among the none kinetic measures employed by OPSH to deliver on its mandate of peaceful coexistence and security of communities in its area of operation, urging the committee members to be just, fair, and neutral in discharging their responsibilities.
Addressing the troops, the Task Force Commander warned that any personnel found performing illegal duties will face the full wrath of the law.
He also charged them to always discharge their duties professionally.
Speaking during a visit to the District Head of Fadan Karshi, Reverend Joel Galadima reaffirmed the commitment of community leaders towards supporting security agencies, saying communities in Sanga have recently witnessed tremendous peace as a result of the increased activities of OPSH in the area.
