Ten Hag appointed Bayer Leverkusen coach as Gyokeres speaks on Arsenal transfer

Former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has been appointed Bayer Leverkusen head coach.

This is the Dutchman’s first job since being sacked by United in October 2024.

Ten Hag, who replaces the departed Xabi Alonso, has signed a deal until the summer of 2027.

Marcus Rashford has posted a goodbye message to Aston Villa following the end of his loan move at the club.

Rashford departed Manchester United in the January transfer window to join Unai Emery’s squad for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.

Pep Guardiola accepted Jack Grealish could leave Manchester City this summer after he was dropped for the club’s final match of the season.

Manchester United have confirmed the departures of Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans, and Victor Lindelof.

Sporting went on to win the game 3-1 to complete the domestic double.

When asked after the game about his future, Gyokeres said: “Let’s see.

“It’s hard for me to say as that’s football. You never know what will happen in the summer. For me to say anything else is impossible.”
