The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress and presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu, has said he is qualified to be the flag bearer of the ruling party for the 2023 general election.
Tinubu said this during his screening by the APC screening committee ahead of the party’s presidential primaries.
He was screened by the committee led by the former APC National Chairman, John Odigie Oyegun, on Monday.
Speaking at the exercise held at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, the presidential aspirant said he raised the monthly Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of Lagos State from N600 million which has now become N51 billion.

According to a statement issued by the Director, Media and Communication of Tinubu Campaign Organisation, Bayo Onanuga, the presidential aspirant further told the screening committee of his invitation to Enron to begin the first state-backed power generation in Nigeria, saying Nigeria would need to take the power transmission lines as a “highway”.
He added that his administration as Lagos State Governor brought telecommunications giant, Econet, now known as Airtel, into the country.
Tinubu reiterated that the country is “rich”, saying the essence of the citizens’ livelihood should be place on long, medium and short terms.
