Tinubu seeks Senate confirmation of 7 ministerial nominees

President Bola Tinubu has urged the Senate to confirm the nomination of seven ministerial nominees for appointment as ministers in his cabinet.

Tinubu’s request was contained in a letter addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio and read at plenary on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

Tinubu reassigns 10 ministers, Tunji Alausa is Education Minister

Tinubu, in the letter, listed the nominees to include Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, Muhammadu Dingyadi, Bianca Odumegu-Ojukwu, Dr Jumoke Oduwole, Mukhtar Maiha, Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, and Dr Suwaiba Ahmad.

Akpabio, thereafter, referred the request to the committee of the whole for expeditious consideration.
