Tinubu visits Kano today over Dantata’s death

President Bola Tinubu will visit Kano today (Friday) to condole with the government, people of Kano, and the family of the late business mogul and elder statesman, Aminu Dantata.

The Kano State Governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature, made this known via a statement issued on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Bature noted that Tinubu’s visit was a show of national unity and respect for the people of Kano and the legacy of Dantata.

Dantata’s body arrives Saudi Arabia for burial

He quoted Governor Abba Yusuf as calling on the residents to welcome Tinubu warmly and in an orderly manner, in line with the state’s tradition of hospitality and respect for leaders.

The visit followed the recent passing of Dantata, whose legacy of service, generosity and investment has had a lasting impact on many Nigerians.
