Spain winger Nico Williams has signed a new 10-year contract at Athletic Bilbao.
Williams – a target for Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Arsenal – has committed to the club until 2035.
His previous deal expired in 2027, but the new one sees a release clause increased by more than 50 per cent.
Williams, 22, helped Spain to win the Euros last summer as he scored their opener in the 2-1 final win over England.
The forward said of his new deal: “When it comes to making decisions, for me, the most important thing is to listen to your heart.
“I am where I want to be, with my people, this is my home. Aupa Athletic!”

Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu will leave the club after a mutual termination of his contract, Sky Sports reported.
Tomiyasu still has a year left on his current deal, plus an option on a further year.
