Troops of Sector 7 under Operation Enduring Peace have arrested a Fulani youth leader over his alleged involvement in a recent attack on Naridon Community in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed in a post on X that the suspect, identified as Zakari Yahu Adamu, was arrested at Fadan Chanwe following intelligence-led investigations into the incident.
According to Makama, Adamu, who is said to be a Fulani youth leader in the area, is being investigated for his alleged links to the attack on the community.
He reported that the suspect is currently in military custody as security agencies continue investigations to determine the extent of his involvement and identify other suspected collaborators.
The arrest is part of ongoing intelligence-driven operations by Operation Enduring Peace aimed at tracking down those responsible for violent attacks and dismantling criminal networks operating in Kaduna State.
Makama added that troops have sustained offensive and intelligence-led operations across vulnerable communities to improve security and prevent further attacks.
